Toni Smith (born Thomassina Carrollyne Smith) was an American recording artist & songwriter whose career spanned over four decades. She rose to fame as the lead vocalist & co-writer of Trumpeter Tom Browne’s “Funkin’ For Jamaica” which attained number one status for five weeks in 1980.
