Bobby 'Neal' Kimble

 

Bobby "Neal" Kimble (born 18 March 1934 – died 11 December 2006) was an American Rhythm & Blues singer and songwriter who first established his presence in the music scene within the United States.

Born Neal Kimble on March 18, 1934, he became a notable figure in the genre, performing under the name Bobby Kimble throughout a career that spanned several decades until his passing on December 11, 2006.

A dedicated practitioner of the New Orleans Rhythm & Blues tradition, Kimble’s work as a vocalist and songwriter helped define the soulful, regional sound of the era.
